JE’REL SMITH

Leadership and empowerment have always been guiding pillars for Jerel. From high school and college involvements to serving as Mister Winston Salem State University at the historical Black college, Winston Salem State University, the focus has been on encouraging male minority. creating Initiatives like "The Winston Man" emphasized character, community service, and confidence, fostering a legacy of empowerment.

Post-college, Je’Rel managed workforce relations for inner-city Chicago youth, providing opportunities at over 75 major companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Chicago Trading Company, The CME Group, and AT&T corporate. Witnessing the potential within the younger generation fueled his commitment to leadership and service.

Delving into media production at Viacom post-pandemic, Je’Rel contributed to iconic TV shows like MTV The Challenge RuPaul's Drag Race, and Nickelodeon’s That Girl Lay Lay, while also helping spearhead some of the entertainment industry and Hollywood’s notable star studded events. This experience ignited a passion for creative expression and the impactful intersection of media and wellness.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in In-Depth Psychology, Je’Rel is dedicated to the profound exploration of the human psyche. This academic journey enriches his understanding of mental health and strengthens the foundation of Knew Aeon.
